From its larger screen and enhanced image quality to how the probe connects, the completely redesigned SiteRite™ 9 Ultrasound System helps deliver an impressive suite of advances—all focused on meeting the demands of vascular access.
Learn more about how the SiteRite™ 9 System is redefining vascular access ultrasound.
Supports informed device decisions
Automatically detects the vessel then applies measurement tools, providing information about catheter-to-vein ratio to assist clinician device selection and alignment with current INS standards
All-in-one vascular access experience
Works as part of a family of tools, including the integrated Sherlock 3CG+™ Tip Confirmation System (TCS), Cue™ Needle Tracking Technology and Cue™-enabled vascular access devices
Supports clinician workflow
Designed to help limit delays, SiteRite™ 9 delivers clinician-focused features including patient data look-up with information capture, auto-fill capabilities and records transfer
Working as one
SiteRite™ 9 Ultrasound System is part of a family of tools that help enhance the vascular access experience, including BD vascular access devices, Sherlock 3CG+™ TCS, Cue™ Needle Tracking Technology and Cue™-enabled vascular access devices.
BD vascular access devices
Designed to help you address the vascular access needs of each of your patients
Sherlock 3CG+™ Tip Confirmation System
Uses ECG to help ensure proper tip location in the distal superior vena cava, at or near the cavo-atrial junction
Cue™ Needle Tracking System
Provides clinicians with continuous and real-time needle tracking throughout the vascular access insertion process1

SiteRite™ 9 and Sherlock 3CG+™ TCS
The SiteRite™ 9 integrates the Sherlock 3CG+™ TCS technology combining ultrasound, catheter location and central venous access device (CVAD) tip placement confirmation technology into one system.
These combined capabilities may help remove the need to use X-ray to confirm CVAD tip placement—an activity that may cost clinical care time, expose patients to harmful radiation and delay medical therapy.
SiteRite™ 9 and Cue™ Needle Tracking Technology
The SiteRite™ 9 Ultrasound System features Cue™ Needle Tracking Technology to provide visual feedback of needle trajectory and needle tip positioning in relation to the structure of interest.
When compared to "blind" catheter placements, this real-time visibility has been shown to help reduce the number of insertion attempts—improving the ultrasound-guided needle insertion experience for everyone.*
